Hi, my name is Santiago Almada (Santi) a percussionist from Melbourne Australia.

I have been striking anything that produces a sound since I was a kid, and have rhythm running through my veins.

A self taught musician that has a passion for groovy stuff, and have been playing with all Latin Music Bands in Melbourne since the ''olden days''.

So now I have ensembled Strikeit , a 3 piece (minimum=3—but can be more as required-) Percussion Ensemble that travels through the rhythms of Afro-Uruguayan CANDOMBE with a flavour of many other Latino Grooves.

And yes! we can add Colourful Dancing Girls as per tradition in our Candombe ensemble.
